10-min Audio Workout-Ground Force Reaction with Core and Upper Body Movements
11m
Welcome to the CardioGolf® Audio Workout.
The CardioGolf® Outdoor Series is designed so you can simply listen to the cues and follow along—at the gym, on the range, outdoors, or wherever you have space to move.
In today’s workout, we’re combining ground reaction forces with core and upper-body movements to help you build strength, stability, balance, and coordination for your golf swing.
We’ll start with a dynamic warm-up, including:
Marching in place
Squats
Then we’ll move into our strength and golf-fitness exercises:
Bicep Curls with Reverse Lunge
Hammer Curls
Side Lunge with Row
Modified Kettlebell Swings
Golfer Burpees
As you move through the workout, think about how your feet interact with the ground. Push, load, shift, and stabilize from the ground up while coordinating your core and upper body.
That’s how we train the body to work together as one connected unit.
Remember: move better to swing better.
Today, I’m using the CardioGolf® Impact Wedge and the GolfGym® PowerBall. If you don’t have these pieces of equipment, no problem. Simply modify the exercises using a small weight, medicine ball, golf club, or just your body weight.
Work at your own pace, focus on good movement, and modify whenever you need to.
Get yourself set, find some space, and let’s get moving.
