CardioGolf® Daily Dose
Today’s exercise is the cross crawl.
It might look simple, but there’s a reason babies crawl before they walk. As they crawl, the right arm moves with the left leg, and the left arm moves with the right leg. This cross-body pattern helps develop coordination, balance, and communication between the two sides of the brain.
Now watch how I do the cross crawl.
Notice how my upper body rotates one way while my lower body moves the other way. That’s the same counter-rotation we use in the golf swing.
In a good golf swing, your hips begin to move toward the target while your shoulders are still finishing the backswing. That separation creates stretch, sequencing, and eventually speed.
The cross crawl is a simple way to train that movement pattern without even swinging a club.
Try doing it for one to two minutes every day. You’ll improve your balance, coordination, rhythm, and body awareness—all things that can help you make a more athletic, efficient golf swing.
This is your CardioGolf® Daily Dose.
