Here's a vintage Golf Channel tip from 2006! Some fundamentals never change.
One of the toughest shots in golf is an uphill lie.
Here are three simple adjustments:
• Match your shoulders to the slope.
• Keep your weight balanced with the hill—don't fight it.
• Expect the ball to fly a little higher and shorter, so take one more club.
It's amazing how the fundamentals of golf stay the same, even 20 years later.
Today, I use the CardioGolf® Fit Wedge to help golfers rehearse uphill, downhill, and sidehill lies before they ever get to the course. Instead of hoping you'll know what to do, you can train your body to make the correct adjustments.
Practice for the lies you'll actually face—not just the perfect ones.

Golf isn’t one-size-fits-all, and neither are lessons. Too often, people walk away from a lesson feeling like they were just told what they’re doing wrong. But a great golf lesson isn’t about fixing flaws—it’s about helping you understand your swing, your body, and how to make everything work tog...
