Plié Squats are a variation of a regular squat. With your knees wider and turned out, the exercise targets the inner thigh muscles more. This is a very good exercise to not only strengthen the lower body, but also to develop flexibility and balance.
Use a club for balance.
Stand in a wider than normal golf stance and turn your feet out in a 45-degree angle.
Push your hips back and lower your body until your thighs are parallel to the floor, keeping your spine straight.
Pause, then slowly push yourself back to the starting position. Repeat the motion.
Do 8 to 10 repetitions.
