Your ability to stay balanced throughout your golf swing determines how much clubhead speed you can generate in your golf swing. If you don't have good balance, it is likely you will have difficulty holding a balanced finish and will be limited in the amount of force you can apply to the golf ball while maintaining good fundamentals.
Stand facing forward with your arms extended out by your side
Raise one knee off of the ground so that your foot is 6 to 8 inches off the ground.
Hold this position for 8 to 10 counts.
Repeat this same exercise with eyes closed.
Repeat exercise on the opposite leg.
Do 8 to 10 repetitions on each leg.
