CardioGolf™ Slope

Here are the benefits of the "single leg balance knee opener" and how it relates to golf. Firstly, golfers can benfit from this exercise because it challenges balance while building strength. Secondly, the exercise helps improve hip mobility. There are, however, benefits outside the golf swing. For example more hip stability and functional movement patterns that are needed for everyday life. Lastly, the lateral motion in this exercise pattern is what happens in the golf swing, so the golfer is practicing the motion they do in the golf siwng.
How to do the "single leg balance hip opener" golf swing power exercise
There are several versions of the single leg balance hip opener. You, however, will have to determine which version is best for your client. Here is the basic exercise:
Stand in front of the CardioGolf® Slope.
Step up on the CardioGolf® Slope and balance on one leg.
Hold your balance as you hinge from your hips.
Rotate your hip open and then return to start position.
Repeat on opposite leg.
Do 8 to 10 repetitions on each leg.
